Stephen Hawking & Monty Python: The Galaxy Song

World renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76.
He died peacefully at his home in Cambridge in the early hours of Wednesday, his family said.
The British scientist was famed for his work with black holes and relativity, and wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time.

The Galaxy Song was originally written for the 1983 film “Monty Python – The Meaning of Life”. It had been re-recorded with the lyrics sung by Professor Stephen Hawking.
Written by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, "The Galaxy Song" is an intricate and informative lecture on the enormity of the Universe fashioned into a bewitching and, above all, highly amusing pop song.
