The Bible and World War One

Remembrance Sunday, 11 November 2018, marks the centenary of the end of World War One. It was a war in which some 65 million men were mobilised. Nearly a third were wounded. Some 8.5 million were killed. It’s a time for reflection. A time to pray for peace.

Where do you look for comfort in the Bible? You might head to the Psalms or perhaps the poignant words of Revelation 21.4, that speak of a time when 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes.'

As we approach the centenary of the end of World War One, we remember both those who sacrificed their lives, and the conflict that ravages the world today.

And so we've brought to life the words of Revelation 21.1-7 in a touching film voiced by people from different walks of life, to bring comfort today.
