Police urge riders and car drivers to pay more attention to safety

Here are some safety tips from Devon and Cornwall Police:

Wear appropriate clothing: proper gloves, boots and textiles or leathers.

Don't ride beyond your own capabilities.

Don't take chances.

Be observant and look for the unexpected.

Also consider doing additional training like IAM, ROSPA or BikeSafe.

The Police have a "system" - it works: study it!
