WHEN four-year-old Izabella Tunnicliffe’s bike was stolen, she said: “Maybe I can give the baddies the money out of my piggybank to get the motorbike back.”
Visordown was touched by the story and set up a crowdfund page to raise the money to buy Izabella a new bike so she could chase her goal of racing in junior motocross.
Beyond our expectation, £1,414 was raised within a month, exceeding the target of £1,349.
In another act of generosity, Honda has now offered to donate a new CRF50F – so Izabella will get her bike while Visordown’s incredibly kind readers will automatically be refunded by the Gofundme page.
That means none of the money raised will be withdrawn from the crowdfunding page. Instead it will automatically be refunded to donors by Gofundme on July 19.
Now, if only we could find the low life that stole a four year old's motorbike...
