A new year, a new groomer for Calli!

Dear Pam has been wonderfully looking after our beloved Calli since we rescued her in January 2015, but Pam has decided to retire this year - so we needed to find a new groomer for our girl.

We'd been aware of Sammy's Perfect Pets in the heart of our village, so this morning we dropped Calli off to Laura and Sammy for a full groom & teeth cleaning.

Laura and Sammy are friendly and very kind with dogs. They made Calli welcome & settled her in nicely. They've worked wonders on our pup - we are very happy with the results - as is Calli! She was in great need of a haircut (which slows her down a lot!) but now is back to hopping around like a young 'un!

Well done Sammy's perfect pets - see you again in March!

Calli has been to Pam for her Spring haircut today!

Dear Calli really needed a trim!

When she gets really fluffy, Calli slows down & acts like a much older dog.

After her (big) trim - she is once more like a pup - full of the joys of life!

Good job Pam - as always!

Calli has been to Pam again. If you look carefully, you might be able to spot a subtle difference LOL!

Just look at the above picture of Calli - before & after visiting Pam's puppy parlour. What an improvement! Dear dawgie must have felt that she was walking round in Summer with a jumper on! Calli is so much happier & full of joy, thanks Pam!

Calli has been to Pam for her Summer trim!

Calli has had her regular wash & trim by Pam today - she looks fab & ready for the warm weather. If only we had some warm weather!

Spot the difference photo - Calli has been to Pam!

Dear Calli has been for her beauty treatment at Pam's place once more - and again - what a difference!

Apart from the obvious lovely haircut, she is like a different dawg! When she is (over)due for a "wash & trim" (about every 10 weeks), she acts like an old dog - walks slowly, lacking in energy. However, once she has her trim, the difference is incredible - like a young pup once more: literally smiles & full of life!

The thing that sticks in the back of my mind, is that had she not been rescued from Zakynthos - she would have never been given a haircut or bath, had treats or toys, and chances are that she wouldn't even still be alive. Thank God for Sue Deeth & Holbrook Rescue - for the goodness they bring to precious creatures like Calli, and the joy they bring into our lives x.

Calli's pre-Christmas wash & brush up!

It never ceases to amaze me: the positive effect on Calli from a visit to Pam's Poochy Parlour.

When Calli's fluff is long, she seems to slow down a bit and act older than her years.

After a wash & brush up, she's like a pup once more - full of playful energy!

Wish a haircut had that effect on me!

Calli has been for a (long overdue) wash & brush up - look!

Owing to various things, Kim & I missed Calli's last haircut slot with Pam - so our darling pup had turned into a proper shaggy dog story!

However the revised date arrived today & Pam worked her magic on our dear dawg - what an improvement!

Well done Pam - as always x

Calli has just had a brilliant summer trim!

But as always Pam has worked her magic, & Calli is a much happier pup!

Calli - from bear to sleek thing in one morning!

Calli hadn't been for a haircut since before Christmas.

She looked enormous (all fluff)!

Really cuddly, but in great need of pampering at the poochie parlour...

Pam has worked her magic on our dear dawg.

Calli once again looks like a pup!

You know who has been you know where again!

Calli has been to see Pam again & has come back looking & smelling wonderful, & "puppy like" again. I wonder if Pam could offer this service for humans? I'd be 1st in the queue!

Also - more fab news: The Travellers Rest, Soberton is open once again!

Calli & I stopped in on the way back from Pam's & the new owners are doing a great job. Cheers!

It's time for "Dr Don"'s instant weight loss plan: Calli has been to Pam!

She's back now: looking & smelling great - Thanks Pam.

Also came back with advice about cutting back the Scooby-Snacks.

Not sure if that was for Pup, Pa & both?...

Calli has had a wash & brush up - time for Puppy Pix!

Calli has been to Pam for her Summer trim - and has come back looking & smelling fab.

Amazing how much she seems to shrink & reduce in age after a haircut!

Thanks again Pam! x

If you are in South East Hampshire, and in need of dog grooming services, K9-4Paws is highly recommended. A friendly caring service by Pam.

Thanks Pam x

Calli has been to Pam for a (long overdue) trim & pampering!

Calli always looks gorgeous, but she looks so much more puppy-ish after Pam has worked her magic! Before the trim, she was starting to look like a mini Old English Sheepdog! Nice one Pam!

Calli has been to the pooch pampering parlour again!

Another amazing transformation from:

K9-4PAWS & THE GROOMING ROOM.

Thanks Pam!

Archie and Calli. Someone's been to the puppy parlour again!

Here on the left is Archie, a dear little Maltese whose mum & dad are clients of mine in Surrey. Calli looks like a larger (3x) version of Archie!

Calli has just spent the morning with Pam, and has come back pampered & ready for the weekend! Thanks Pam!
