Donline sponsors (again!) the Wickham Charity Beer Festival ;0) 8th & 9th April 2022

24th Wickham Charity Beer Festival. Friday 8th and Saturday 9th April 2022

Thanks to all of you who attended our October Charity Beer Festival and to our Sponsors and Suppliers. Due to your generosity we raised close to £5,000 for local charities including the Rainbow Centre and Bishop’s Waltham Men’s Shed as well as the local Scout Group and the Wickham Community Centre. This means that since we started, back in 2008, we have, with your help, raised around £140,000 for both local and national charities. This excludes the additional income for charity made by the Wickham Community Centre and by Meon Valley Lions Club.

Our next event is a two day event on the evening of Friday 8th April for Blues and Beer from 19:00 to 23:00 and Saturday 9th April starting with the morning session from 11:00 to 16:00 followed by the evening session from 18:00 to 23:00; we look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi everyone. I have left my following message generally as written for the April 2020 Festival. It has been a long time coming but we are back and we hope to continue as before.

A quick thanks to all of you who attended our last Charity Beer Festival (it seems so long ago now) and to our Sponsors and Suppliers. Also a big thank you for your generosity at the event investing your hard earned cash in the raffles; altogether the Beer Festival has been able to give in excess of £5,000 to charity from the last event. This means that since we started, back in 2008, we have, with your help, raised over £135,000 for both local and national charities. This excludes the additional income for charity made by the Wickham Community Centre and by Meon Valley Lions.

Our next event is early October and, as normal, is a one-day event on Saturday 9th October starting with the morning session from 11:00 to 16:00 followed by the evening session from 18:00 to 23:00; we look forward to seeing you all there. Mike, Gary and the Wickham Beer Festival Team

The Denmead Beer Festival is our main fund raising event of the year and I am pleased to see how well this has been supported over the past 20 years! Please come along to help us continue to provide local services to our local community – we have 45 user groups many of which are providing Community Learning activities.

This year we aim to appeal to a more diverse clientele so as well as a good selection of traditional Beers and Cider, we are offering an enhanced selection of wines – including Prosecco, as well as soft drinks for any designated drivers! Also available will be Aspall’s Cider and a cold filtered IPA for those who are not so fond of the traditional cask ales.

We will have our traditional Raffle with many super prizes to be won, and a BBQ for those mid-evening hunger pangs! Live music by ‘Mamma Belle’

Donline sponsors the Wickham Charity Beer Festival: 5th & 6th April 2019

Wickham Charity Beer Festival was established in 2008 to raise money for local charities. Since its humble beginnings we have raised over £125,000

We hope everyone enjoys themselves and appreciates the great live music and fantastic variety of 30+ beers and ciders. For those non-beer and cider drinkers we also have a bar where you can purchase wine and soft drinks.

Tickets sell out fast so get yours early! If you want to go a step further and be a sponsor, please contact us to see what you can do! All profits from the festival go to local charitable causes.

Entertainment at this festival:

Friday 5th April

We are pleased to have This Way Up Blues Band playing for us at this years event.

Their music included old blues standards from J.B.Lenoir, Albert King through to the younger new artists such as Kenny Wayne & many more.

Saturday 6th April

For the Evening session we will start the night with,

Danny J doing any acoustic set your entertainment.

Followed by our main act will be Stoked & Loaded.

The Four piece Rock / pop party Band, have become the newst rock band to hit the circuit. Fronted by the fantastic Helen Earle of Avalon. Stoked & Loaded will leave you rockin.

Donline sponsors the 22nd Wickham Charity Beer Festival 12 October 2019

Welcome to the 22nd Wickham Charity Beer Festival on Saturday 12th October 2019. This autumn we hope to bring you a range of around 30 ales & 6 ciders. Tickets now on sale.

We will have food available at each session, pies at the afternoon session.

We are please to welcome back the Meon Valley Lions with their fantastic BBQ for the Evening session.

Entertainment at this festival:

To start our evening entertainment off this autumn , we are pleased to welcome back: Danny J. He will playing an amazing cross section of acoustic tunes.

Then after year's of trying we are pleased to have performing for us as our main act: The Scary Biscuits - With their great stage performance & set.
